About SQUADRA

SQUADRA is a fine art photography gallery in New York, founded in 2022. We represent contemporary photographers from around the world and share their work through exhibitions and limited-edition prints, in the gallery and online.

Since our first show in 2023, we have presented eleven exhibitions, from Jean-Pierre Laffont's Ali vs. Frazier to Yuji Watanabe's Yōkai and Landscapes.

Each exhibition brings a single series into the gallery at PICTO New York in Brooklyn, and lives on online with its own page.

Made with PICTO New York

Every work we exhibit is available as a fine art print, produced with our partner PICTO New York, the US studio of the Paris lab founded by Pierre Gassmann in 1950.

Prints come in small numbered editions, each one checked and signed by the artist.

The team

How we started

SQUADRA began in 2022, when three partners with very different backgrounds came together around a shared passion for art. Julien Alamo brought his expertise in printing, Carla De La Matta the art community she built through Photographize, and Emmanuel Barbault his legal experience in the art and fashion industries.

Together we bring everything a gallery needs: curation, printing, exhibitions and events, digital content and social media, and international art law.
