VERTIGO

  • Vitaliy Raskalov is a Ukrainian photographer and urban explorer based in New York. Since 2009, his practice has taken him to the summits of the world's tallest and most recognizable structures. Working without safety equipment, he has scaled skyscrapers, bridges, and monuments across Shanghai, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, and beyond, capturing perspectives that few have ever witnessed. His work has been exhibited in solo shows in Munich, Basel, and Kyiv, and in group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. He is the founder of On The Roofs, a global urban exploration movement with over a million followers worldwide. He has collaborated with Canon, Huawei, Converse, and The North Face, and hosts a show on Red Bull TV.

  • To stand at the edge of the world's tallest structures and look down — this is where Vitaliy Raskalov begins.

For over a decade, the Ukrainian photographer has scaled skyscrapers, bridges, and iconic monuments across the globe, climbing without ropes, without permits, and without fear. What he brings back are not simply photographs. They are records of a silence that exists only at extreme height: the city reduced to geometry, the horizon stretched beyond comprehension, the human body made small against the vastness of what it has built.

In VERTIGO, these images are printed at a scale that matches their ambition. Floor-to-ceiling and edge-to-edge, they pull the viewer upward and outward, into a space that is at once breathtaking and deeply still. There is no safety net here — only light, air, and the extraordinary view from above.
