“The mighty 9 members of the WTC ( ODB being in jail) all at once in a studio.! The plan was to do the group shot on 4x5 film ‘ a la Avedon’ style and the solo shots ‘ point and shoot’ style. All the solos went quick, fun and easy to do but by 5pm I was still unable to get them all 9 on the cyclo for the all important group shot : 5 would be there ready, waiting 5mn for the other 4, finally not coming busy smoking, trying clothes etc so the 5 would leave the set while 3 more would step up and so forth. And I did not feel like ordering them so finally. Method Man comes to me and says“ what are we waiting for here? I tell him the ‘issue’ I have to tell all to come up in front of the lens at once and in one minute he got them all to comply and be on set. Then I got my iconic shot.”
