“He liked cars so I had to shoot him in a studio sitting in a dragster car, not one of my best work so you won’t see it ! The portrait that made the cover was the sold by my agent for his upcoming CD cover. My agent sold it to his label Atlantic records for 5 times the price they were willing to offer so you can imagine the creative director there told me I would never work for them again. Fun story to tell in retrospect. Execs always trying to hustle and bs you, so you take the money and run I guess.”
