“ When I came to NYC in 1993, and started assisting Stephane Sednaoui, it was the first time I met ‘the queen’ and there you go 9 years later I was the one behind the camera shooting her this time. Funny loop. For the anecdote, in 93 Stephane shoots her against the big metal door of the Chinatown NYC jail depot, then a bus of prisoners comes out and they all started shouting ‘the Queen, the Queen !! Through the windows. Felt like England in the hood…….
